TINAR Race Series exists to create incredible experiences that challenge runners in both body and mind.

TINAR was formed in 2020, in the height of COVID. From our first race with just six runners, we now host multiple races per year in Ohio.

In 2022, TINAR Race Series hosted the Pike Lake Ultramarathon (10k and 50k) and the Alley Trail Marathon (half and full marathons).

TINAR was founded by Race Director Samuel Hartman, an ultrarunner and lover of all things vert.

TINAR races are different than other trail races in that we strive for excellence in every area of the race, whether it is the food served, the course markings, or the runner swag. No detail is too small.

Community is at the heart of each race. We encourage positivity and camaraderie on course, and cheer loudly for every runner, from first pace to last place.

Primes are a fun part of each TINAR race—a race within a race based on a certain criteria. We borrowed this idea from the world of competitive cycling.

Sponsors and partner are critical to the race. We seek novel and relevant brands to support our race financially, and in-kind.

TINAR staff & crew are trained and guided to provide an incredible Runner Experience to everyone who attends our races.

We love trail running, and our runners do too. It is a sport that rewards grit, endurance, and persistance.

TINAR Race Series exists as a paradox: to challenge runners on hard, technical courses while making their race experience unparalleled.
